Current and former international rugby players were among the guests at this lively event in Salthill Hotel, Galway
Over 260 guests attended the Galway Bay Rugby Club’s Spring Ball held on Saturday, March 2 at Salthill Hotel.
Virgin TV presenter Ger Treacy was the compere for the evening, and entertained guests with a surprise Q&A with Connacht and Ireland’s Mack Hanson, Tiernan O’Halloran and Jared Butler.
The lively event comprised a champagne reception before supper as well as a live band, singing chefs and a DJ who kept the vibe upbeat.
As well as the current Connacht and Ireland stars, there were plenty of rugby players among the guests, including former internationals Johnny O’Connor, Ronan Loughney and Gavin Duffy. Connacht head coach Pete Wilkins was there too as well as Mayor of Galway, Eddie Hoare and minister Hildegarde Naughton.
