It was an afternoon of fun in the sun when guests attended the launch of Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé – the so-called “Picasso of Pastries”.

The renowned pastry chef and collaborator, explains: “For the past 20 years, I have constantly been creating and reinterpreting my macaron recipes, which is my favourite creative terrain. My macarons are my identity so to put them in an ice-cream I needed to work with the very best. Häagen-Dazs is just as passionate as me when it comes to quality, taste and crafting things in a new way so collaboration was established from the first bite.”

The new special edition ice-cream is available in combinations including strawberry and raspberry, double chocolate ganache, and yuzu and lemon which guests including Erica Cody, Soulé, Louise Cooney, Terrie McEvoy, Teodora Sutra, Joanne Northey and Tara O’ Farrell got to sample, alongside creative cocktails and summer canapés.

The Häagen-Dazs x Pierre Hermé ice cream is available in stores nationwide including Tesco Ireland, Dunnes Stores and Super Valu.
