Guaranteed Irish celebrated its 50th anniversary with business awards and a gala dinner at the RDS …
When Guaranteed Irish hosted its annual Business Awards event for 400 guests at the RDS, Oliver Callan was an entertaining master of ceremonies. Guests enjoyed dinner, a Riverdance performance and an evening of networking with the best in the business in Ireland, across many sectors, both local and international. The Guaranteed Irish Business awards celebrates and recognises the determination, innovation and contribution of businesses across the country.
The categories for awards included Beauty and Fashion; Construction, Engineering and Manufacturing; Craft, Home and Gifting; E-Commerce; Food and Beverage; Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and MedTech; Professional Services; Retail, Tourism; and Technology. Before the event, a panel of industry leaders from An Post, Aer Rianta, FBD Insurance, and IDA Ireland, among others, had the tough task of judging a total of 174 finalists, after whittling down hundreds of entries.

Dairy company Glenisk came out on top as the winner of the Guaranteed Irish Business of the Year Award. Glenisk employs over 80 people across Ireland and is a generous contributor to its local community. The Guaranteed Irish Special Recognition Award was presented to Dr Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, former European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science. The Lunch Bag, a school meal supplier, went home with the award for the Guaranteed Irish One to Watch. Sharon Hoey from Gloss favourite fashion label ANDTate was the winner of the Guaranteed Irish Advocate within a Business. The award for Beauty went to Pestle & Mortar, another Gloss favourite.
