From Bella Freud x M&S To Uniqlo and JW Anderson, Fashion Is Awash With Cool Collabs

Fusing high street and high-end shopping, these are the hottest collaborations to know now …

The fashion world loves a good collaboration. Particularly come autumn, a time when we’re often upgrading and expanding on those hero buys that will see us through the season. For AW25, we’re seeing the return of M&S x Bella Freud for a second season – fans of Freud’s podcast Fashion Neurosis will delight in the fact that they can shop the designer’s pieces on the high street. And the fact that the hero knits selling out at M&S are quite luxurious (the jumpers are a mix of merino wool and cashmere). Not to mention that they are emblazoned with the offbeat trademark slogans we’ve come to know and love from Freud.

Meanwhile, when he’s not resetting the fashion agenda at Christian Dior, Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson is collaborating with Uniqlo once more: expect the usual fare of technical fabrics, unisex styling and great outerwear from the latest Uniqlo and JW Anderson drop. Our interest is piqued by the puffertech short jacket, pictured below. Equally, we would have snapped up one of the canvas tote bags, which comes in an array of colours, had they not sold out.

What’s better than a good collaboration? A collaboration within a collaboration, according to the fashion world. Riffing on the alliance between Manolo Blahnik and Marie Antoinette – which ties in with the current Marie Antoinette Style exhibition at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum – Net-a-Porter has collaborated with Blahnik on a sub-collection of footwear exclusively for the luxury retailer. Expect decadent appliqué details, whimsical shapes and plenty of pastels. Lastly, on the topic of stylish joint efforts, honourable mention must go to Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin fronting the latest GapStudio campaign, designed by Zac Posen. Think: elevated wardrobe staples such as great denim, white shirting and utility-inspired dresses.
