5 Fashion Insiders Share The SS25 Buys On Their Wishlist

What are the names behind some of the coolest fashion brands lusting after for the season ahead? Read on …

Marie Skall, co-founder, Skall Studio

“The perfect dress for a spring or summer stroll, the Freya dress is a loose fit, beautifully embroidered heavy material maxi dress with fitted shoulders and flared three-quarter length sleeves. The collar has a mother of pearl button and intricate lace details. Additionally, it has embroidery, subtle puff sleeves with lace inserts and plissé details,” says Marie Skall, the designer who is one half of Danish slow fashion brand Skall Studio.

Kay Barron, fashion director, Net-a-Porter

“There is nothing Saint Laurent does that I don’t love and there are very few other brands that can persuade me out of a patent stiletto (by Saint Laurent, of course), and into a loafer, but that is the power of this brand. The suede Le Loafer shoes are a perfect spring addition as we step out of boots and before it becomes sandal season. I will wear these strictly with pale blue denim for a subtle nod to the 1970s, while still looking modern,” Barron says.

Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard, founders, LIÉ STUDIO

“I’m very excited to wear my new Holin trench coat from Studio Nicholson when spring arrives in Copenhagen. It’s the perfect essential that I’ll be throwing on every day for my bike rides to work,” Cecilie says. “I’ll team it with the Georgia green suede belt by LIÉ STUDIO. It’s the best accessory to elevate a classic white T-shirt and denim for a well-finished look,” she says.

Meanwhile, Amalie Moosgaard is favouring ballet flats. Heeled ones, to be precise. “I picked these up while browsing airport shops on a recent trip. I’ve always been a big fan of ballet flats and these add a little something extra with the heel. I’ll be wearing them for everyday looks this spring,” she says.

Lili Chemla, founder and designer, LESET

“These sunglasses are the perfect blend of timeless and classic—elegant without trying too hard. They pair seamlessly with my daily uniform of LESET Rio pants and a Margo tee, adding just the right amount of polish to an effortless look. A go-to piece that will be even better once spring season actually kicks in,” says Chemla. Chemla is the founder of New York label LESET (pictured, above left), which has fast become a go-to for polished wardrobe staples that have immediate ease (think The Row, but mid-range). Pieces excel as much for loungewear basics as they do for dinner dates and have been worn by women from Emily Ratajkowski to Kamala Harris.
