The Netflix thriller – based on the true story of the infamous ‘Watcher’ house in New Jersey – is packed with eerie plot twists and sinister characters. Conversely, Naomi Watts’ chic and serene wardrobe is also stealing some scenes …
It was the all-white look that caught our eye. When Nora Brannock (played by Naomi Watts) views an open house in the idyllic suburb of Westfield, New Jersey alongside her husband Dean (played by Bobby Cannavale) in new Netflix show The Watcher, she does so in a tonal look of whites and creams; all trendy silhouettes and cool accessories. It’s a fitting look for Brannock who is a New York-based artist, specialising in pottery. And, while the Brannocks’ soon-to-be life in suburbia certainly doesn’t go to plan, Watts’ wardrobe stays on track throughout.
Statement jewellery is a key player in Nora’s wardrobe. Think pieces by brands like Alighieri and Bottega Veneta. The colour story is mainly whites and off-whites throughout (there mustn’t be much spilling in suburbia); in fact one of the biggest forays into colour comes via a longline beige trench coat, paired with stomping boots. Think palette cleansing neutrals in on-trend silhouettes. The best uniform there is, really, while you’re being terrorised by your neighbours. Shop the look below.
