Cool Girls Are Swapping Black Mascara For Denim-Blue

There’s a new mascara in town and here’s why we rate it …

RUM is a modern “pop-up” beauty brand founded by a trio of UK industry experts – make-up artist Sam Chapman, PR Jo Jones and beauty authority Sali Hughes – and they’re kicking off with this Wrap Party mascara. It’s a tubing formula, which means it glides on glossily and is also easy to remove with warm water (no scrubbing required). Naturally, it comes in the blackest of black (shade name: Taxi), but we’re most enamoured by Inkwell, a blue the colour of your favourite jeans. It’s a modern blue that works so well for everyday, like denim. Love the fine wand too – no clumping or messiness.

It’s a vegan formula, and €1 from each mascara sold goes to Beauty Banks to support those living in hygiene poverty. We’ve been trying this mascara out for a while now and enjoy the flash of colour it gives to lashes. Newly available in Ireland, €25, via www.wearerum.co.uk, while stocks last.
