Before Tito Beveridge became the founder and master distiller of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, he was known as “the vodka guy”. In the 1990s, short on funds, Tito would create vodka infusions to give as gifts to friends and family. On a plot of land outside Austin, Tito built the oldest legal distillery in Texas. Using old fashioned pot stills, the vodka continues to be distilled in small batches, every batch is taste tested. INGREDIENTS
45ml Tito’s Handmade Vodka
60ml fresh watermelon juice
30ml lemonade
METHOD
Add Tito’s Handmade Vodka, watermelon juice, and lemonade to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass over fresh ice.
Strawberry MoTito
This summery MoTito variation will help keep you cool no matter how you like to beat the heat.
INGREDIENTS
45ml Tito’s Handmade Vodka
45ml sparkling water
22ml fresh lime juice
2 tsp sugar
6-10 mint leaves
5 fresh strawberries, muddled
METHOD
Gently muddle mint leaves and strawberries in a shaker.
Add Tito’s Handmade Vodka, fresh lime juice, sugar, and ice.
Shake well and pour everything into a glass.
Top with sparkling water and garnish with a mint sprig and strawberry slice.
Tito’s Shack Cherry Sour
Back in ’97, Tito tossed some black cherries into a bottle and created the first-ever Tito’s infusion. This cocktail is a nod to this 90s classic.
INGREDIENTS
45ml Tito’s Handmade Vodka
7ml orange liqueur
30ml cherry juice
7ml lemon juice
1 egg white
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a shaker and dry shake.
Add ice and shake again.
