We can thank lockdown for igniting a nationwide tablescaping obsession – and we’re happy to see the appetite for creating a beautiful tabletop isn’t waning as we enter summertime. For the uninitiated, a ‘tablescape’ is an artfully-curated tabletop that hinges on aesthetically pleasing crockery, table linens and glassware – and, in most cases, plenty of colour. Just this week, Brown Thomas has launched a tablescaping pop-up, Table Stories, in its Grafton Street store. Expect plenty of old reliables like bona fide Instagram hit Vaisselle and Irish-designed favourite The Designed Table, as well as some exciting new names. Setting the table just became a decadent treat.
