A good holiday wardrobe starts with a killer swimsuit …
Odds are if you’re reading this, you’re in desperate need of a good swimsuit. After a hiatus from summer holidaying (thanks, Covid-19), most of us are. They say a decent swimsuit is the backbone of a good holiday wardrobe – then why do we always put off looking for one? Perhaps it’s the drudge of badly-lit fitting rooms and erratic sizing that make the quest for the perfect all-in-one so off-putting. That, coupled with the fact that two years spent in and out of lockdown makes us feel less than swimsuit ready.
This season’s swimsuits, hopefully, offer some promise. The slew of all-in-ones out there run the gamut of high-cut and exuberant (hello, Hunza G) to expertly nipped and tucked to hug you in all the right places (thank you, M&S). There’s also a rather charming seersucker suit available at Arket, scroll below, which makes us dream of provincial Mediterranean towns, salty hair and the dopamine hit of good old Vitamin D.
