Fans of Bad Sisters, the darkly comedic drama executive-produced and starring BAFTA Award-winning Sharon Horgan, will delight in the news that a release date has been set for the next series of the show. Season two of Bad Sisters will premiere on November 13 on Apple TV+. The first two episodes will debut on November 13, which will be followed by one episode weekly, every Wednesday, until December 25.

What do we know so far about the new season? Not much, although what we do know about season two hints at a story as twisted and schadenfreude-filled as the first. Following the Garvey sisters – starring Sharon Horgan as Eva, Anne-Marie Duff as Grace, Eva Birthistle as Ursula, Sarah Greene as Bibi and Eve Hewson as Becka – the new season picks up two years since the ‘accidental death’ of Grace’s abusive husband John Paul. According to Apple TV+, “the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust”.

Following the first look image and premiere date of Bad Sisters season two, AppleTV+ announced a lineup of additional cast members including Irish film and theatre actress Fiona Shaw, who has starred in Killing Eve, Fleabag and Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, alongside Owen McDonnell who recently appeared in True Detective: Night Country, the latest instalment of the True Detective franchise, alongside Jodie Foster.

Bad Sisters season two premieres on Apple TV+ on November 13.
