THE WOOLEN MILLS
THE ROOMS
Set in one of Dublin’s most iconic buildings, The Woollen Mills offers private dining with a view – literally. Perched above the Halpenny Bridge, guests can choose from three exceptional spaces: the intimate Joyce Room, Riverrun Room or the stylish Roof Terrace. Georgian windows, River Liffey vistas and a rooftop garden-style terrace combine to create a truly memorable backdrop.
THE PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE
The Woollen Mills provides versatile private dining options for breakfast, lunch, dinner or corporate events. The Riverrun Room, on the first floor, accommodates up to 30 guests. The Joyce Room, on the second floor, hosts up to 20 guests with double-aspect windows overlooking the Halpenny Bridge. The Roof Terrace, with its retractable roof and heating, feels like a city garden and can hold up
to 80 guests. Each scenic space showcases the restaurant’s elevated Irish cuisine, from Silverhill duck ragu to Grilled Pigs on the Green bacon chop with mustard-braised savoy cabbage, colcannon and caramelised apples.

THE CLUB ROOM AT BROOKWOOD
THE ROOM
Brookwood’s Club Room on the second floor offers private dining with a view over Baggot Street. Seating between six and sixteen guests, it’s a beautiful and versatile space, ideal for corporate dinners, family celebrations, or any social occasion that deserves a touch of intimacy and style.
THE PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE
The Club Room’s prestige menu has the wow factor and will doubtless make any celebration feel exceptional. Think champagne and oysters to start, caviar, a show-stopping tomahawk steak, followed by indulgent desserts such as grilled brie with wildflower honey or a chocolate bar with strawberries. Perfect for graduations, birthdays or any occasion where you want to impress. If your graduate really knocks it out of the park, this is exactly the room to toast it in.

THE GOLD BAR AT HANG DAI
THE ROOM
If there is a cooler spot in Dublin to mark an occasion or celebrate an achievement than Hang Dai, then I have yet to come across it. When it comes to a casual, fun venue, The Gold Bar ticks all the boxes.
THE PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE
There are a couple of options when it comes to choosing private dining here. For larger groups (max 40), there’s the option to choose from a canapés menu that includes delicacies such as chilli and salt prawns with spring onion, pork dumplings and the famous cheeseburger spring rolls. Smaller seated groups (max 30) have the option to choose an à la carte menu. The heated covered balcony is quite possibly the biggest draw, although the excellent sound system, striking gold ceiling and bespoke wood panelling add to the unique ambience.

SOLE SEAFOOD AND GRILL
THE ROOMS
The ultimate long table experience, The Captain’s Table at SOLE on South William Street in Dublin 2 has always been a great choice for celebrating with a feast of Irish seafood. But now, with the restaurant’s stunning expansion and reimagination, there’s even more to explore. Recently transformed under renowned interior designer Graham Barrow, SOLE now spans 11,000 sq ft and offers two additional private dining suites – the intimate Cove for 14 guests and the grand Vault for up to 20-40, perfect for larger celebrations. Expect a warm, inviting atmosphere, with touches of glamour and subtle mood lighting.
THE PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE
Begin with The Captain’s Seafood Tower, a show-stopping selection of hot and cold seafood delights, including grilled Irish lobster, steamed mussels, fresh oysters, prawns and Howth smoked salmon, served with condiments and brown soda bread. For those seeking a more intimate or larger-scale affair, the Cove and Vault offer elegant alternatives, each designed with exclusivity and comfort in mind, complete with a dedicated entrance at 47 Drury Street.

VOLPE NERA
THE ROOM
The private dining room in Volpe Nera in Blackrock is a good choice for anyone who appreciates fine dining without fuss. In a cosy space removed from the main restaurant, you and your guests will have complete privacy, and as anyone who has enjoyed Barry Sun’s food knows, an enjoyable meal is practically guaranteed.
THE PRIVATE DINING EXPERIENCE
Does anyone else love a square dining table? As much as I adore long table dining, a square table feels so much more sociable. Guests in the private dining room, accommodating up to 22 people, will be offered a four-course set menu, with tea or coffee, for either lunch or dinner. Signature dishes such as mushroom dumplings with aged soya, fennel and herb oil, and wild halibut are must-orders.
