5 New Cookbooks To Add To Your Collection

All the seasonal inspiration you need …

SCÉAL: Seasonal Recipes and Stories from a Modern Irish Bakery, Charlotte Leonard-Kane and Shane Palmer

My favourite bakery in Ireland, Shane and Charlotte are two of the kindest people I know, and this book was made right as they opened their bakery and had their first child. I got to shoot it with photographer Shantanu Starick and Cissy Difford, spending weeks baking. @scealbakery

How I Cook, Ben Lippett

So much more than a normal cookbook, it’s filled with techniques and tricks in the kitchen that will help you to become a better cook. I highly recommend this one! @dinnerbyben

Fusão, Ixta Belfrage

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Ixta and she’s without a doubt one of the best recipe writers. She’s so clever with flavour and cooks like no-one else I know. I’ve made a few recipes from this book, with stories from Brazil, and cannot recommend it more. The photos alone are worth buying it for. @ixta.belfrage

Padella, Tim Siadatan

If I’m stuck for somewhere to go in London around Shoreditch (Borough is always too busy), Padella restaurant is where I’ll end up. This book is great for anyone who wants to learn how to properly make cacio e pepe or pasta from scratch. Beautiful photos and styling by my good friends Sam Harris and Esther Clark. @padella_pasta

Indian 101, Karan Gokani

Karan Gokani owns the famously great Hoppers restaurant, also in London. He makes authentic home-style Indian cooking look easy. Clear, regionally rooted recipes that include smart shortcuts, air-fryer tweaks and ingredient swaps that make vibrant meals accessible for everyday cooks. @karancooks
