It’s the tail-end of summer, and our hair is bearing witness to months of being tied up and forgotten about, subjected to the sun and sea salt. Here are four ideas to help rescue the situation:
THE SUMMER HAIR FIX
Rescue split ends with this dedicated cream by hair line ORI Lab, made by Australian company NAK Hair. THE SALON
Eddie Doyle’s petite salon looks like a gallery from the outside. And it’s filled with paintings and drawings, both by himself and his artist father – so it’s a lot more interesting than most salons you’ll visit. If you’re someone who never quite feels at ease in a salon (and that includes me), head here for a blow dry and trim in peaceful, unpretentious surroundings. Doyle uses all natural and organic products by Natulique, including colour; he avoids the extra chemicals in conventional hair dyes, he says, “because I actually care about your hair”. THE IRISH OIL
