Where To Find Incredible Irish Gifting

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ARNOTTS

Arnotts Christmas Market is now open, a one-stop pop-up shop of interesting Irish-made gifts and exclusive offers …

With only 42 days left until Christmas, busy people need a destination that will provide gorgeous gifting inspiration for all the family. Fortunately, at Arnotts, a whole new world of gifting is on offer with the opening of its Christmas Market.

Irish Christmas Market

Located on the Second Level of the magical Henry Street store, The Christmas Market is a one-stop pop-up shop of interesting Irish-made gifts and exclusive offers. Regardless of who is on your list – a pernickety relation, fashion-forward friend, modish millennial, younger sibling, or grandparent, you’re sure to find something that is both appropriate and special. The gifting spans craft and design items as well as homeware, toys, food, and beauty items.

A further focus of the Christmas Market this year is the inclusion of the coveted Pitch ’23 brands within the pop-up, making it the biggest market to date. This annual initiative supports Irish start-ups and budding entrepreneurs to pitch for their chance to be mentored by the experts on the Arnotts retail team. The five finalists for 2023 include brands: Blackbird Jewellery, Human Collective, KALO, Skin Krush ® and Treat Yo Self – all represented at the Christmas Market.

A forte is its hand-picked selection of homegrown fashion brands such as KALO, a vegan leather accessory brand, founded by Kate and Michael. Check out KALO’s “Everything Bag” which comes in a range of colours from black to pink and is a simple, classic design perfect for all occasions. Whether you’re popping to the shops or going on a date, this versatile accessory can be customised with two interchangeable straps.

For those who love leisurewear and endorse brands with a sustainable and social mission, look no further than Human Collective. This Irish brand was founded by Conor Buckley who champions equality – so much so that the logo is a discreet equals sign to show support for racial, LGBTQI+ and opportunity equality.

Who doesn’t love something small and sparkling to open on Christmas Day? Blackbird Jewellery owned by Katie Rogers showcases contemporary jewellery from Irish and European designers offering truly unique pieces with a mix of healing crystals and hand-crafted bracelets.

Another fashion brand endorsed by celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Biel is Peelo. Founded in 2020 by creative director Julie Peelo, the Dublin-based brand has quickly established its reputation for the quality and range of its beautiful totes, clutches and crossbody bags, using premium materials that are manufactured by European factories and suppliers.

A former Pitch finalist also on sale at the Christmas Market is Don’t Kill My Vibe, a Dublin-designed inclusive jewellery brand founded in 2016 by two full-time fashion designers Ciara and Niamh who describe themselves “as if Fleetwood Mac and Tupac did a duet.” That means there are plenty of rock-inspired pieces and as well as designs that include the Irish language.

Once you’ve selected your gifts, a further addition to the Christmas Market is the new personalisation service at Arnotts. Gifts can be elevated with a choice of wrappings and final touches – from state-of-the-art embroidery to customisable gift ribbons or monogrammed initials on chic scarves. This extra level of detail will undoubtedly touch the recipient and create timeless keepsakes that turn simple gifts into something they’ll treasure forever.

So, whether browsing or buying, make a date to visit the new Christmas Market at Arnotts, where fashionable gifts, fantastic offers and fabulous personalisation services combine to make life that little bit easier at this busy time of year. For further information visit www.arnotts.ie.
