Minaw Collective 

A day surrounded by beauty is always time well spent. And, when it comes to art, it doesn’t get more talented – or exciting – than the Minaw Collective, the all-female group of artists whose work decorates the walls of the Kildare Village mall this summer. 

Taking its name from the Irish word mná, meaning women, the Collective is a group of fourteen female artists living in Ireland who make a statement through street art. Inspired by the themes of equality, diversity and tolerance, each piece is informed by the members, who hail from locations across the globe. Stop and enjoy one of the murals – and an inspiring nod to all things female – the next time you’re at the Village.

Family Friendly Events

The summer months are always fleeting – which is why it’s important to make the most of those sunny, carefree days. Thankfully, at Kildare Village there are a host of summer activities for the whole family to enjoy which kick off on July 7 and run all the way until August 20. 

First on the agenda? Summer music. Kicking off each Thursday from July 7, Kildare Village will become a hub for live performances: so while you choose from over 100 fashion brands to shop and a coterie of stellar eateries to dine in, it’ll be to the soundtrack of live DJs or the dulcet tones of smooth live jazz. 

It’s not just about the adults, however. When it comes to the weekend, it’s all about maximum entertainment for the kids. Running each Friday and Saturday, from July 8 through to August 20, Kildare Village will kick off a series of children’s entertainment workshops for all ages – so the little ones are guaranteed a day of fun.
