This Jewellery Classic Has Had a Makeover

A fierce array of women, from Liza Minelli to Sophia Loren and Angelina Jolie have all been spotted sporting Elsa Peretti’s iconic Bone Cuff. First designed for Tiffany & Co. in the 1970s, Peretti created a different cuff for left and right wrist; the idea is that they fit precisely like a second skin – and although they are sold separately, the Wonder Woman impact they two make together can’t be denied.

New this season is a ‘split’ version, in a large size nearly 10cm in width which will certainly hold its own worn solo but would also make for a great counterpoint paired with the smaller signature version on an opposite wrist. The blackened copper is a new finish and feels like a fresh take on such a classic – and at €720 is certainly an easier way to get acquainted with this design than the 18ct yellow gold version which currently stands at over €26,000 (it’s a good job this cuff is the definition of a classic).
