This Is What’s Trending On The Streets Of Paris Now

From fresh takes on suiting (hint: go grey) to the jacket of the moment and the sensible but chic trousers to wear in the rain, let these looks below inspire you …

Grey suiting and mesh flats are a trusty pairing for when you want to look sharp. Note the short length on the jacket which is in vogue for spring.

Chocolate brown shades are big right now – splashed across voluminous jackets, equestrian boots and roomy leather totes.

Taking shelter from the rain in a camel skirt suit by Skall Studio is a perfectly stylish solution in our books.

Suede and leather jackets are trending (see our edit of the best suede jackets to love here), and we love how Leia Sfez adds personality to hers by pairing a classic tan jacket with double denim and a chic, customised tote.

Meanwhile on the runway, the recent Chloé fashion show at Paris Fashion Week – under new creative director Chemena Kamali – served up a dedication to bohemia featuring ruffled dresses, knee high boots and cool faux furs. We can already picture the in crowd sashaying around the Left Bank in these cool-girl looks.

It’s nearly trench weather and this season we’re looking for one with smart details. Think: check or gingham lining, a corduroy cuff or a novel abbreviated length.

An oversized blazer is the one piece we just can’t quit. Wear it with a mini skirt, tights, and leather boots, or pair it with your favourite jeans (add some interest by knotting a knit around your neck like a scarf).

A pair of simple, pleat front black trousers, that cut off at the ankle, are the perfect item to wear in the changeable weather, if you trust Chanel ambassador Caroline de Maigret’s outfit choices (we do, implicitly).

All the usual great, glossy content of our large-format magazine in a neater style delivered to your door.
