THE HANDBAGS
So iconic red-soled shoes have been for years on our radar, and in our wardrobes, and this season’s collection has plenty of new styles to fall for. But having photographed Christian Louboutin bags for a recent shoot, we can confirm there is something very special about the designer’s handbags too. Maybe, like us, you will fall in love with the neat, elegant Loubi54 leather clutch, the By My Side leather wallet with its chain strap, or the Paloma wallet with chain, all three perfect for evenings out. You may soon be obsessed, as we are, with the Cabachic mini leather bucket bag, or the Cabarock leather tote in black, yellow, and blue, both covetable “everyday” bags with personality. THE POP-UP
The very good news is that there is a Christian Louboutin pop-up open now on the ground floor at Brown Thomas Dublin, running until January 7. This smart pop-up space will showcase Christian Louboutin’s handbags and leather accessories, so that clients can see the full breadth of the collection, with more styles, sizes and materials. So you can see more of what you love. From the coolest little card holders, to the roomiest of tote bags, every bag and leather accessory is suffused with bold Christian Louboutin joy.
THE BOUTIQUE
Upstairs, on Level 1 at Brown Thomas Dublin, new season shoes include the divine Miss Jane low block-heel double strap Mary Jane style, and the Sweet Jane, in rose gold leather – a sweet ballet flat with Mary Jane straps. We adore the Hot Chickita slingbacks and the trainers of the moment – Astroloubi leather low-tops. The black Turela 55 is an elegant and versatile block-heel boot. MocLug loafers have a cool dialled-down lug sole with thin red stripe, and Condora 100 heels with ankle strap in electric blue suede are the night stars of a winter wardrobe.
FOR MEN
Discover Christian Louboutin’s men’s shoes in the boutique too. Davisol chocolate suede brogues and Alpinosol leather Chelsea boots, each with a lug sole with thin red stripe, and signature lacquer soles, are our favourites. Discover too, men’s backpacks – we have our eye on the Loubideal small nylon backpack in read and black – neat, cool and wearable.
FOR KIDS
LoubiKids will arrive at Brown Thomas Dublin for the first time this November for the best-dressed kids in town. For girls, there are super-classic one-strap ballerinas in a range of colours, Funnytopi sneakers in silver and the Incredible Loubi high-top sneakers. For boys, there are wellingtons, Derbies, Chelsea boots and lots of sneakers, including the playful Mini Sharks, with their cute red teeth. All Loubikids shoes have signature red soles.
