I am a big Christmas fan. My children liken me to Chevy Chase in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. I always start the festive season on the first of November! Pre-loved jewellery and home accessories is a new venture for us, it is part-hobby for my wife and myself. We love traveling to vintage fairs abroad in search of interesting pieces with a story.

‘Eat, drink and be married’ should have been our theme for December 2020 but, just like many others, we have decided to postpone our wedding until 2021. We are hoping to spend time with loved ones in our home this Christmas, so we have created the perfect cosy, festive setting. We opted for a Scandi Christmas theme in the living room: lots of grey and neutral tones with festive gold accents. We chose a more traditional theme for the sitting room, we mixed claret, forest green and navy throughout. It will be our new puppy Harry’s first Christmas with us, he is already embracing the Christmas spirit!

I think the girls in this house wrote the book on getting Christmas ready! Preparation normally starts in November, if not sooner. The girls watch Christmas movies most weekends and have started to watch some in the evening time too. Lilly loves Charlie and The Chocolate Factory and The Christmas Chronicles. Santa letters have already been written and posted. The Toy Show and the arrival of Elf On The Shelf are a huge part of December’s festivities.
