We’ve always appreciated the beauty of the ‘jeans and a nice top’ combo, and for spring summer 2022 the top continues to take centre stage. Styles ranging from collared blouses to puff-sleeve shirts abound, both on the catwalk and on Insta-feeds. It seems our love of a dressy top is growing more ornate, too. According to Klarna, the global shopping and payments service, sales of corsets have jumped by 1,077 percent since last November, and puff sleeve crop tops have surged by 3,487 percent during the same period. (We can thank Bridgerton and the rise of #regencycore for that.) We’ll always be on the lookout for a pretty and versatile top – so we’ve rounded up a few favourites below.
