CHOCOLATE LASHES
We’re opening our eyes to a lighter way to wear mascara – brown is a somewhat softer and more relaxed option than black for defined lashes with less drama. Try Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes (€24.50 at www.theloop.ie), or Malteser-brown Glossier Lash Slick (€18). Or consider something more daring – Chanel is championing red for eyes and lashes. It’s surprisingly flattering.
LEATHER ALL YEAR
Yes, you can wear leather all year. An elegant light-coloured coat (seen here at Saint Laurent) elevates a plain dress. Cropped leather trousers (in silver at Isabel Marant) or a classic-shaped leather dress (at Chloé) will always have a place in your wardrobe. Instead of the usual peach and coral lip shades, spring looks featured darker lip shades. Rochas, David Koma and Molly Goddard paired light summer clothes with luscious blackberry or raspberry lips, set off against bare-looking, polished skin.
