Let the sunshine into your wardrobe, says Aislinn Coffey

Yellow – spring’s most optimistic trend – has been adopted by both fashion insiders and interior designers. On the SS23 catwalks, Raf Simons, Erdem, Chanel and Proenza Schouler presented nuanced yellow, from lemon to egg yolk, and buttercream to daffodil. Happily, there’s a shade to suit every skin tone. Bold, saturated yellows look good on pale skin, while softer pastel tones and lemon suit darker skin tones. Not quite ready to commit? Dabble in the trend by adding a bright yellow accessory, particularly striking with a black and white outfit. Alternatively, use Little Green’s Giallo paint to add a burst of sunshine to any room, especially as a highlight or accent colour.
