The In-The-Know Dublin Boutique That Champions Personal Style

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KHAN

Storied fashion boutique KHAN offers a fresh perspective …

In a world filled with micro-trends and viral moments, personal style isn’t just important – it’s essential. Thankfully, there’s KHAN: the storied fashion boutique that champions forever buys with personality. KHAN stocks a host of Irish and international labels, from stalwarts Max Mara, Sportmax, Paul Smith and Dorothee Schumacher to heavyweight Irish designers such as Lainey Keogh and Roisin Linnane, as well as accessories label August Night.

Curated by the expert eye of founder Deryn MacKay, who knows what her customers want and delivers it through a timeless curation of premium wardrobe basics and hero eveningwear buys, the boutique has navigated over thirty years in business, with its loyal cohort of conscious clientele returning year after year to update their wardrobes. This season is, in true KHAN form, all about effortless simplicity. Leaning into a palette of navy and black (what else?), party dressing takes a considered approach with sculptural dresses by Roisin Linnane, tasteful long-sleeved maxi styles with a splash of sequins by Max Mara and cool-girl slips by Sportmax. (FYI: Linnane also specialises in striking jackets, too. See the Blake taffeta style, which is in store now.) For a nod to Parisian style, why not try a bow-detail dress? The statement LBD, below, by Dorothee Schumacher will feel special with every wear.

When it comes to outerwear, it’s all about faux fur. We cannot deny the appeal of Max Mara’s collarless coat – no matter what your style, it’s the kind of warming piece that will elevate any outfit (although, the classic belted wrap coats currently in store are forever buys, too). While Essentiel Antwerp’s faux fur black jacket, below, can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. (Look to Rosso35 and Charlotte Sparre for equally as appealing options in the texture of the moment.) As for footwear, Ernesto Dolani’s just-landed lace brogues will add edge (team with a dress or statement coat, and wear with black socks), while the brand’s flat biker boots will temper even the most romantic of dresses. Meanwhile, Poesie Veneziane’s forest green suede loafers joyfully punctuate an all-black outfit. Then, of course, there are the elevated staples: shirting by Hana San, fine knits by Italian luxury label with Transit, denim that can be styled high or low by Paul Smith and ultra-soft cashmere by inhouse label KHAN Cashmere. Lastly, for cocktail hour accessorising, look to Irish label August Night, founded by Simone Rocha alumna Caoimhe Grant: its distinctive ruched satin bags now come in all sizes, ranging from black clutches to XL maxi totes, replete with bows, in statement chocolate brown. Pop into the boutique in Blackrock Village and find something that’s just right for you.
