American designer Brandon Maxwell’s SS20 collection came as a pleasant surprise. The current king of the red carpet and 2019 CFDA Designer of the Year (he started off as Lady Gaga’s stylist in 2012) gave us some of the most relaxed and confident looks he’s ever shown: think grown-up, classic wool sweaters with tailored-to-perfection blazers, impeccably cut button-down shirts with huge cuffs and straight-leg, medium blue denim jeans. Wear with dapper loafers and a classic handbag. A real throwback to the 1990s!
