Butlers Chocolate is with you every step of the way …
Passport: check! Swimming togs: check! Butlers coffee: check! The highlight of so many holidays is that first sip of Butlers coffee when you’re finally on the way. Whether you’re flying out from Dublin airport jetting off somewhere sunny, taking the train from Heuston Station to Cork, Galway or Limerick, or hopping in the car for a road trip via Blackrock, Bray or Naas, Butlers Chocolate Cafés are there to make sure your trip starts off smoothly. While we can’t control the weather (though Mother Nature seems to be looking after us so far this season!) there are some elements of an Irish summer that are within our grasp. Making the most of days out with friends, family, little ones and four-legged friends all in tow, few things bring people together quite like a stop-off at Butlers Chocolate Café where the hardest decision of the day is choosing which complimentary chocolate to pick with your coffee …

HEUSTON STATION
All aboard? You’ve gathered your cappuccino from Butlers and glossy magazine from Easons, ready to settle into your journey. There’s nothing quite like train travel for a feeling of escapism and relaxation minus any Friday afternoon traffic or road trippers’ road rage! Sit back, relax and sip on a Butlers coffee as you while away a couple of hours to get to your destination. The holiday starts now.

DUBLIN AIRPORT
Jetting off somewhere nice? If you’re anything like us, you will always make sure to leave plenty of time for some pre-flight fuel once you make your way into Terminal 1 or 2. After picking up some pre-flight sunnies or last-minute beauty bits, our favourite airport pick-me-up has to be a Butlers coffee and sweet treat before we board.

BRAY
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! Did you know that Butlers has opened its latest location in Bray? A visit to the seaside town might take you back to summers past when a day out at the amusements with some fish and chips for dinner followed by a 99 was the height of school holiday excitement. Now you might take the dart to Greystones and follow the trail all the way back to Bray where a reward of coffee and cake awaits you at Butlers’ newest outpost on the Main Street.

WATERFORD
If you’re heading to the sunny southeast, a beautiful day out would be a cycle along the Waterford Greenway with a pitstop at William Vincent Wallace Plaza where you’ll find the Butlers Chocolate van! This sweet spot is the perfect stop-off before or after your cycle for a coffee and a complimentary chocolate. You might even pay a visit to the stunning Mount Congreve gardens which are closeby too.

BLACKROCK
We’re all getting out and about more to enjoy this gorgeous weather. Swimming in the sea, taking walks along the coast and planning coffee meet-ups with friends, kids and dogs in the sun! Any excuse to get outdoors. After a dip in Blackrock, we’ll be making our way up to Butlers Chocolate in the Blackrock Shopping Centre to cool down with a sup of something summery – the new Summer Drinks menu features everything from an Iced Vietnamese Latte to a Rhubarb and Spiced Mango Cold Brew or a Cold Foam Salted Caramel Cold Brew. Summer bliss! Let’s hope the sunshine sticks around.
