Take In These Interior Collaborations Inspired By Nature

From bedlinen to beautiful rugs, bring the outside in with these new collaborations …

Foxford x Helen McAlinden

Mount Congreve Gardens in Waterford is one of the very best places in the world to enjoy 200 Magnolias varieties such as Magnolia campbellii, Magnolia veitchii and Magnolia sprengeri var diva, among others. These were originally planted and curated by former owner Ambrose Congreve and his co-creator Mr Herman Dool. To coincide with bloom season in February and March, Foxford collaborated with designer Helen McAlinden on a new collection as part of its “Sleep Like You’re in Mount Congreve” launch. Perfect for a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift.

“When I visited last spring, the sight of the different varieties in magnificent bloom was genuinely awe-inspiring,” McAlinden recalls. “It sparked an idea to delve into the archives and find old botanical drawings as a tribute to this exciting new collaboration with Mount Congreve.” Made from luxurious 300-thread-count cotton in Portugal, the collection features nature-inspired designs that evoke the charm of the gardens. The Magnolia duvet set costs €79.95, a bolster cushion €29.95, fitted sheet from €49.95 and pillowcase set, €29.95. www.mountcongreve.com

Jaipur Rugs x Tatiana de Nicolay

“Jardins du Monde” is a collection of artisan rugs created by Jaipur Rugs in collaboration with Paris-based designer Tatiana de Nicolay, who has worked with brands such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Diptyque, Lobmeyr and Manish Arora, and Tarun Tahiliani. The collection features seven designs inspired by gardens around the world, in particular the enchanting (but lesser known) Albert Kahn gardens in the suburbs of Paris. Tatiana wanted each rug to evoke the essence of distinct settings, from French, English and Japanese gardens to forests, meadows, labyrinths, waterways, and pagodas. “The collaboration has allowed me to translate my passion for global gardens into tangible art pieces,” she explains. “Each rug tells a story of cultural discovery and natural beauty, inviting homeowners to experience these unique landscapes.”

Ruggable x Matthew Williamson

Ruggable’s latest collaboration is with interior designer Matthew Williamson, consisting of six styles in flat woven and tufted rugs incorporating the recognisable designs and vibrant colour palettes for which he is known. “This collection is inspired by my home in Mallorca, which gives me a feeling of wanderlust every time I visit,” explains Matthew. “It’s a beautiful space characterised by rich colours and is full of touches from the outside world. We worked hard to bring through these influences in the designs, so that each piece in the collection adds a natural feel to any space it is used in, but without compromising on the utility we all need in everyday life.”

All of the rugs feature Ruggable’s two-piece system made up of a lightweight washable rug cover and a non-slip rug pad, making it stain-resistant and water-repellent. Designs feature sinuous snakes, abstracted peacock motifs, palm trees, leopard prints and other wildlife. Whether displayed in the living room, bedroom or kitchen, the washable rug system means every rug is both functional and stylish, as well as affordable. Prices start at €109. www.ruggable.co.uk
