Beautiful blouses, quilted jackets and how to pull together the perfect seaside look (no matter where you are): we’re inspired by these spring outfits …

Throw caution to the wind and break out that spring look you’ve been dying to wear (just remember to have a jacket on standby, too).
Now that we’ve (hopefully) passed the threshold of rain and cold weather we’re taking that as a sign to go unapologetic with white. Start with a boxy white blazer, like this one by Second Summer (which you might also recognise from the cover of the April issue of THE GLOSS).
We’re digging the Hamptons vibe of this look: white jeans with a slight flare, quirky flats and a nice knit for when the coastal breeze picks up. It’s the perfect laid-back, living-by-the-coast attire to embrace, no matter what your location.
We’ve been talking about trench coats for a while but now feels like the ideal kind of weather to actually break out a trench. Hopefully, there’s no need for too many layers underneath, either! Add a basket bag and you’re set.
Nothing says spring like a peasant blouse and flared jeans combo: just ask Elle Macpherson.
Now’s the time to start thinking about summer dresses, even if you are wearing them with layers. Throw a chunky cardigan on top of a floral dress and accessorise with some tulips.
Warmer temperatures mean we can finally wear our favourite quilted floral jackets. Shop a selection of the best jackets here.
