Charlotte Tilbury always goes big on the festive season, it’s fair to say. We were in London this week at the live-streamed launch of her 2025 Holiday Collection – and announcement of the face of this year’s campaign, Celine Dion. The brand took over London’s Emerald Theatre and filled it with glittering discoballs, tonnes of golden gifts and cabaret dancers clad in rhinestones and feathers … it could only be a Tilbury event.

The theme of this year’s collection is Star Confidence, with a new perfume of the same name (the best yet, with warm soft notes of blackcurrant absolute, jasmine sambac and patchouli oil) added to the line-up. Even if you haven’t been mad on the perfume collection so far – the bottle design is very divisive – this one is worth discovering.

Other standout gifts this year include the ever-popular Beauty Treasure Chest (€215), a golden set of drawers containing beauty treats; new Hollywood Instant Look in a Palettes (both limited-edition), and a collectable lip-shaped tin containing mini lipsticks. More lavish is the Pillow Talk Dreams Come True collection, in a 1930s-style pink carry case. Though we’d be happy with the new lip mask (€32), a smoothing, plumping option for those swerving injections …
“I hope this campaign reminds everyone that confidence is the greatest gift you can give yourself – because when you feel alive and empowered, anything is possible,” says Tilbury. If only the beauty entrepreneur and boss could bottle her own energy and enthusiasm: backstage, she chatted to everyone at the event and posed for pictures. A consummate pro, Tilbury’s continued passion for her brand is effervescent, and everyone in her orbit (even her close team) marvels at her.
