Sitting Comfortably On Sunny Days: A Stylish New Outdoor Furniture Range To Know

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FINN & ELDER

Elevate your garden terrace with Irish brand Finn & Elder’s gorgeous outdoor furniture …

Since Joanna McGarry founded Finn & Elder in 2020, the Co Kildare-based garden furniture company has been dedicated to designing and making outdoor furniture that combines functional design with simple elegance. Driven by a gap in the market, Joanna, with her vision of sophisticated coastal-inspired outdoor living, delivers a brand which transforms outdoor spaces into smart hubs for relaxation and entertainment, whether in the city or the countryside.

Finn & Elder is redefining the outdoor furniture market by offering premium, luxurious teak pieces with high-quality cushions in the most delicious colours – accessibly priced and promptly delivered. From lounge sets to loungers, to dining tables and chairs, each piece in Finn & Elder’s collection epitomises comfort and style, and helps transform outdoor areas, big and small, into sanctuaries of relaxation.

Under Joanna’s guidance, Finn & Elder collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Indonesia to create the collection. Teak is sourced only from certified responsibly managed forests, and Finn & Elder’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in eco-friendly production processes.

“I loved the idea of creating a mainly timber range that was beautifully tactile, with the best quality outdoor fabrics we could find,” says Joanna. “It was never going to be a low-cost product – we shouldn’t undervalue the valuable resource of timber, especially the teak that is required to make our products both hardworking and weatherproof. But it had to be attainable, and available quickly. Who wants to wait weeks or months for delivery when Irish summers are often short lived?”

Finn & Elder’s latest collection includes Cognac, Bali, Nina and Anais styles – all with sleek design and refined shapes, and includes clever adaptable tables that can shrink or grow in size to accommodate larger groups, and plump comfortable cushions in bold new colours, including Spa and Mossy Green, Raspberry Pink, Cointreau Orange and Crystal Blue.

Now in its fourth year, Finn & Elder has gradually expanded and acquired many clients who are happy to share their discovery, and Joanna and her team are also in the enviable position that lots of landscape designers and architects showcase Finn & Elder furniture in their garden designs. Look out for pieces popping up at Bloom in the Phoenix Park, from May 30-June 3.

Much like the beautiful gardens in which you will find Finn & Elder, the brand is growing, sustainably, and with considerable style. Order soon for sunny days: www.finnandelder.com.
