This year’s Met Gala fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition “Costume Art.”
Naomi Watts stunned in a Dior black satin dress with an outward-projecting skirt in gazar, overlaid with a veil of muslin and embroidered with fabric flowers. She also wore Dior Haute Joaillerie accessories with Dior shoes, and make-up by Dior Beauty, with a Hollywood wave and fresh flowers in her hair to match her dress.
Alexa Chung wore a Dior satin halter-neck dress featuring a chiffon insert embroidered with a chartreuse-coloured geometric pattern. A fabric waterlily brooch at the waist, and a headpiece composed of fabric lily-of-the-valley bouquets and black satin ribbons, make this look her own. She also wore Dior Haute Joaillerie accessories with Dior shoes, and minimal make-up by Dior Beauty.
Karlie Kloss kept it simple in green satin Dior shoes and SS26 Haute Couture dress in ecru silk georgette, hand-pleated and twisted over a lightweight ruched tulle structure. Her floral headpiece embroidered with fabric orchids adds a subtle touch of colour from head to toe.
Miranda Kerr stunned in a structured Dior white ensemble with a backless top in draped organza embroidered with rhinestone flowers, and a georgette skirt embroidered with flowers and plumetis.
Nicole Kidman‘s daughter Sunday Rose made her debut in a Dior strapless organza dress entirely embroidered with fabric flowers and a georgette skirt embroidered with a gradient of flowers, complemented with an earring embroidered with flowers.
Sabrina Carpenter went for something completely different in a Dior tulle slit dress with an appliqué of rhinestone film strips from her namesake, the film Sabrina. She pulls it off with embroidered fringed cuffs tied to a jewelled headpiece for a dramatic finish worthy of the popstar.
Paul Anthony Kelly kept it classic in a Dior burgundy velvet and silk shawl collar tailcoat with black wool pants and patent leather derbies. He accessorised with a Dior Haute Joaillerie ring and brooch, with grooming by Dior Beauty.
Adrien Brody, meanwhile, rocked leather trousers with a Dior wool and silk tuxedo jacket with printed silk scarf.
