A dazzling display …
Santa himself showed up for an exclusive preview of Avoca’s Christmas gifting, homeware and occasionwear collections at the Suffolk Street store in Dublin, while a “flock mob” outside serenaded busy shoppers with Christmas classics.

Guests were treated to bespoke Avoca Christmas cocktails, including the Christmpolitan (Still Craft Irish vodka, Giffard triple sec liqueur and gingerbread syrup with cranberry and lime), the Flocky Fizz (Giffard apricot brandy liqueur, prosecco, bitters and floss), and the indulgent Baaaa Humbug (Giffard crème de menthe and crème de cacao, fresh cream and chocolate). The menu featured seasonal delights from Avoca’s central kitchen with festive nutloaf, cranberry and leek sausage roll wreaths, and party bites such as hot honey and sesame sausages. There were also Dublin Bay scallops, seared to order, and Goatsbridge trout caviar served with labneh from Velvet Cloud. Of course, the night wouldn’t have been complete without Avoca’s famous baked goodies which included brand-new cranberry and orange mince pies and Rice Krispmas star with popping candy.
