First up is the launch of Charlotte Tilbury’s first permanent standalone store in Ireland. This will delight fans of the make-up and skincare brand who swear by Charlotte Tilbury as the definitive go-to for getting that lit-from-within glow. As well as creating some of the best bronzers and highlighters on the market today (not to mention the noteworthy Legendary Lashes mascara), Tilbury’s Pillow Talk range is ubiquitous. And with good reason – a Pillow Talk lipstick is sold every two minutes, globally.

Tilbury’s high calibre pro-artists create iconic celebrity looks – from Paris Fashion Week to the red carpet at Cannes, the Met Gala and the Oscars. Now, you can catch these artists in action at a series of beauty events, The Beauty Edit at Kildare Village, running from September 22 to October 9. See the Kildare Village website for more information. Charlotte Tilbury at Kildare Village opens early October.

Good news for skin savants: long-time favourite Elemis opens a skincare boutique at the Village this month. The brand is loved for its active products that harness cutting-edge delivery systems to boost skin health, no matter what your age. While you’re visiting, have a skin wellness consultation or spoil yourself with a mini-facial treatment: your skin will thank you. Elemis at Kildare Village is open now.

Turning the spotlight on Irish beauty, homegrown make-up brand AYU is now open at Kildare Village. AYU – a cruelty-free, vegan-friendly range named from the Indonesian word meaning ‘very feminine, very beautiful’ – is the brainchild of Irish make-up artist Suzie O’Neill that has gained a cult following for its award-winning tool kits (makeup artists swear by them).

Meanwhile, Kildare-based Pestle & Mortar opened its first standalone store at the Village this month; meaning you can shop a curated selection of Pestle & Mortar products at extraordinary prices. If you haven’t yet tuned into the brand, do so – the brand’s hyaluronic acid, which blends high-performance active ingredients with nourishing natural extracts, is a hero product. Pestle & Mortar at Kildare Village is open now.

Autumn fashion is all about cosy knits, chic cover-ups and a fresh new palette. But how do you know if you’re wearing the correct shades? That is, the ones that really suit you, rather than what’s trending. Did you know that you have a perfect palette of colours, from pastels to brights, neutrals to after-dark shades, that is just the right match for you?

So many of us are guided by what we like on other people – or what we see on Instagram – rather than the colours that truly flatter us. At Kildare Village, the expert personal shopping team, led by Deputy Director of Private and Personal Shopping Clara Halpin (pictured, above), will help you find your perfect palette. Find out the colours that flatter your complexion, and enjoy a 45 minute style consultation that’ll show you exactly how to integrate them into your wardrobe. You’ll also receive a bespoke colour guide to take home: meaning your future shopping decisions will be in all the right shades.

The Perfect Palette service costs €100; to book, simply email PersonalShopping@KildareVillage.comKildare Village is open from 9am to 7pm daily, with a late opening of 9am to 8pm each Thursday and Friday. For further information visit the Kildare Village website, or follow @kildarevillage

She is the queen of no makeup makeup and even manages to make a smokey eye look subtle. When everyone else was going for heavy contour and laminated eyebrows, she continued to promote enhancing your natural features with simple tricks and smart product placement. If you have seen any of her videos, you will notice how little product she actually uses. Even Victoria Beckham commented how surprised she was when she went to remove her makeup after a shoot with Lisa on how little product was applied.
