Following a lively conversation on Shopping For Vintage as part of Design Week Dublin, in partnership with Range Rover, many attendees headed to Porter & Jones, where there was a distinctly convivial feel as champagne and conversation flowed.

Hosted by Sé Porter and Liza Jones of Porter & Jones, the reception offered an opportunity to reconnect in the relaxed surroundings of the brand’s beautifully curated showroom.

With glasses of champagne in hand and a DJ providing an upbeat soundtrack, guests moved between the showroom spaces, taking in the carefully considered collection while catching up with colleagues, friends and fellow design enthusiasts. Architects, interior designers, industry professionals and clients mingled throughout the evening, creating the kind of informal, sociable atmosphere that makes events like DWD such an important part of the creative calendar.

The setting itself provided plenty to talk about, with Porter & Jones’ approach to interiors evident throughout. The showroom took on a different energy as day turned to evening, with guests exploring the displays and pausing to admire details, materials and finishes. The informal format allowed the work to speak for itself, while the music, champagne and steady flow of guests created a lively backdrop for discovering what colleagues across the industry are working on.

The evening was less about presentations and formal programming and more about bringing people together – an opportunity for the design community to socialise and enjoy the shared energy of a busy week.
