Pinterest Trends: Cabbage Crush Inspiration

Cabbage-core is in …

The motto for 2026? Live, laugh, leaf! This year, we’re finally saying goodbye to fruit motifs to crown cabbage the new MVP.

The humble veg is celebrated in fashion and homeware, from Sandy Liang’s cabbage bag to cabbage chic seen in the Highgrove X Burberry collaboration. Burberry and King Charles III’s Highgrove Gardens collection is inspired by the beauty of the natural world, with campaign ambassadors veritable royalty in their own right, featuring Downton Abbey stars Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Carmichael making the greenhouse their runway.

Cabbage outfits prove popular on Pinterest, plus expect to see cabbage couture come to the fore, whether IRL or thanks to AI. British gardener-influencer Gerald Stratford even featured in US Vogue this year as the viral “Veg King” who’s also collaborated with Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Gucci and White Stuff.

CABBAGE-SCAPING: @bordallopinheiroofficial has all of the inspiration you need for a cabbage-core tablescape, with ceramics available to buy online from Mytheresa.

TOO GOOD TO EAT: Maison Flâneur‘s collection of cabbage and radicchio hand-painted plates and serving dishes look lush layered for a colourful setting.

ON HOME SOIL: If you prefer to peruse in person, look no further than M&S or Meadows & Byrne for pretty plates, charging bowls, glassware and jugs.

KEEPING IT REAL: Think sustainably with cabbage centrepieces you can easily repurpose. Opt for red cabbage if you’re feeling wild as the waxy purple leaves will pop. Etsy offers cute cabbage leaf vases if you’re so inclined.

CABBAGE CRUSH CABINETRY: While green kitchens have always been on our radar, consider cabbage coloured cabinets if you aren’t quite committed to painting the space. They look great against pink shelving as a natural contrast. @devolkitchens

CABBAGE SEASON: Food stylist and editor Kitty Coles recommends stuffed cabbage rolls with a mix of pork and beef mince, rice and sultanas in tomato broth when in season, while Maggie Roche of Little Acorn Café‘s favourite recipe is Colcannon potato cakes with smoked bacon cream sauce and sautéed Savoy cabbage. A twist on the old reliable bacon and cabbage never looked so good.
