BANANAS & BRANDY by Ngozi Elobuike: Two parts DODO plantain-infused brandy, 1 part Havana Club dark rum, two dashes cocoa Angostura Bitters, bourbon-smoked sugar (optional), over one large ice cube, topped with a banana chip.
POUR AND PURR This cocktail comes out in full force at Christmas, says Katie Sanderson; the nutmeg makes it Christmassy. Two parts mezcal, one part Orgeat almond liqueur and a half shot of lime juice, shaken and poured over ice, with freshly grated nutmeg to garnish.
HENNESSY ESPRESSO MARTINI Add 45ml Hennessy VS Cognac, 30ml espresso and10ml simple syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.
