Molly Goddard Launches A Ready-To-Wear Bridal Collection

Playful and elegant, the Molly Goddard Bridal collection is catnip for fashion-forward brides …

Would you marry in a tutu? Molly Goddard’s devout cohort of followers, who swoon over the designer’s trademark taffeta creations, would answer an emphatic yes. The British designer has launched her first ready-to-wear bridal collection, Molly Goddard Bridal, which will sit alongside the bespoke bridal collection already offered by the design house. Comprising eleven dresses, styles range from mini to midi and maxi lengths. Adventurous brides will delight in the short and frou-frou tutu styles while demure longer lengths play with adventurous shapes.

The dresses are made from Italian tulle, taffeta, Spanish cotton voile and organdie,  with all dresses made in England.

Accessories are also in the mix, with veils in ivory, blue and coral pink available. Cover-ups include a lambswool cardigan with tulle overlay and a frilled tulle bolero.

The Molly Goddard bridal collection is available on a ready-to-wear basis – meaning brides can purchase them immediately, without the lead times of a bespoke wedding dress. Dress prices start at €1,400 and all dresses will be available in a sizes 6-20.

Three more bridal collections to love …

Rotate Wedding

Rotate has launched its first full bridal collection Rotate Wedding, catering to modern brides who want a dress that’s true to their sense of personal style. The collection remixes the most popular Rotate pieces, with a bridal spin. A non-traditional approach to wedding dressing, the collection does abide by one rule of bridal dressing: each piece is white. Get it through the brand’s site here and at Brown Thomas, Dundrum.

LK Bennett Bridal

Following in the footsteps of Rixo and Whistles, LK Bennett embraced the bridal market late last year with the LK Bennett Bridal collection. The collection spans four bridal gowns as well as bags, shoes and hair accessories and is available to Irish customers via LKBennett.com.

Sophie Bille Brahe

Danish jewellery designer Sophie Bille Brahe’s contemporary pieces are perfect for the pared-back bride who wants elegance rather than OTT bling. The designer’s second bridal edit, which launched last month, focuses on five diamond ring styles. Shop it at SophieBilleBrahe.com
