It’s hard not to fall for the array of spring jackets being teased everytime we go online. So far, our lust-list includes chequered trenches, cotton-canvas barn jackets, as well as great denim coats (possibly the most exciting of all) and shackets. A hangover from last autumn is the trend for brown suede blazers, these have been repeated again at Massimo Dutti and Soeur for SS25. Meanwhile, functional fabrics are key: see Barbour’s Hayley showerproof jacket, below, that, while practical, also plays up to the spring mood with its jaunty patterned cuffs. Elsewhere, short and boxy shapes are key. For winter, these came in wool materials, but for spring, it’s all about leather. Plan your spring look with these ultra-covetable cover-ups below.
