Congratulations To The RAYE Competition Winner!

We were thrilled to offer four tickets to see one of the most exciting artists of the moment at the 3Arena, as part of Goodbody’s contests and events series exclusively for Investment Club members.
The winner was chosen for sharing her financial goal for 2026, from starting to invest to growing a pension.
We were inspired by the thoughtful response. After receiving a sizeable lump sum last year that was not an inheritance, she courageously acknowledged something many of us can relate to: knowing the right financial move in theory while struggling to act on it in practice.
Instead of letting that money sit idle any longer, she took control – weighing the pros and cons of paying down her mortgage early versus investing with a medium?term horizon of five to seven years. In her own words, she’s ready to make a decisive, meaningful move. Speaking to an advisor helped her to assess risk, consider her family’s needs and keep enough liquidity as she settles into a new career.
