There were side partings and smooth hair ahoy at the Golden Globes online this week – we were mostly captivated by Anya Taylor-Joy, whose hair looked surreal, as did her Dior Couture green dress, while Lucy Boynton can always be relied upon to brighten things up with a load of glitter and a sharp choppy haircut. A smooth side parting – and a strong lip colour, also worn widely for the awards – are both easily achievable at home for a bit of a change. The hair may require a bit of serum, though. I’ve just finished my bottle of Christophe Robin Regenerating Serum, which is rather posh but just lovely and light, plus heat-protecting; also good are Aveda’s leave-in Damage Remedy hair repair, and Davines Oi Oil. All work well for fine hair, grey hair and hair that’s just generally gone blowsy and fluffy from lack of expert cut and care.
