Home Comforts: 4 Gorgeous Irish Gift Ideas For Spring

Perfect for Mother’s Day …

Brighten up your home with these simple upgrades, from luxurious silk pillowcases to fragrant candles, all from Irish-owned companies.

Cherry Blossom

Max Benjamin’s new Kyoto Blossom collection brings a welcome blast of spring into our homes, via a full range of candles (€30), diffusers (€35; refill €20), car fragrances and more. It’s a bright, fresh scent with notes of bergamot, rose and lilac alongside Sakura blossom and a soft base of vanilla, tonka, patchouli and musk. A pretty, powdery scent that’s cheerful and uplifting. At select retailers nationwide and online. @maxbenjaminofficial

Sleep In Silk

Still Suain, founded by a Cork couple in 2025, is a range of silk accessories, from sleep masks (€65, in colours from ivory to pale pink) to pillowcases (€75), scrunchies (from €10) and bonnets. The fabric 23 momme mulberry silk is sourced from Suzhou in China. All packaging is fully recyclable and plastic-free wherever possible. “Before starting the brand, I completed a Master’s in Environmental Engineering and have been vegan for the past six years, so sustainability has always been central to how we build the business,” says Aisling. “Suzhou is long regarded as the silk capital of the world, with a heritage dating back to the Tang dynasty. Our silk is GOTS-certified organic, which is independently verified, from fibre through to dyeing and finishing.” @stillsuain

Home Scents

Wicklow-based fragrance studio Bread & Weather has a lovely range of soaps (from €3.35), candles (travel-size from €16.60) and diffusers (from €34). The Rosewood Lavender reed diffuser (€34) is “a softly structured floral: herbal lavender lifted by warm rosewood so it never tips into sweetness,” explains founder Ella Kennedy. “It quietly fills a space with a refined, balanced scent that feels elegant and unmistakably botanical. As a former private chef, I approach scent much like a recipe, blending essential oils to create balanced, layered compositions.” @breadandweather
