Model Sophie Anderton has donated her bespoke Helen Cody wedding dress to raise money for ARC Cancer support …
Model Sophie Anderton married Polish Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill at his home, Glendalough House, last summer and chose Irish designer and ARC ambassador Helen Cody to design and make her custom wedding dress (Sophie wore the dress for her wedding ceremony and then changed into another dress for the rest of the celebrations).
Sophie and Helen have decided to donate the beautiful wedding gown to raise money for ARC Cancer Support. The wedding dress is an off the shoulder dress, made from French hand loomed lace with pearl buttons down the centre back and sleeves with a separate bias cut silk and lace slip. The lucky winner of this beautiful gown will also win a personal fitting in Helen Cody’s studio to alter the dress to fit their shape. The dress is currently a size UK8 and can be altered up (to a size UK10) or down to suit, depending on the winner’s required size.
Also part of the prize is a beautiful sketch of the dress (which will be framed) by Helen Cody. ARC will hold the wedding dress raffle on Friday, January 28 until Valentine’s Day. A raffle ticket costs €50 and all proceeds go to ARC. To buy a ticket go to www.idonate.ie/raffle/weddressforarc. The winner will be announced on Tuesday February 15 via ARC’s social media platforms. @arccancersupport
She is the queen of no makeup makeup and even manages to make a smokey eye look subtle. When everyone else was going for heavy contour and laminated eyebrows, she continued to promote enhancing your natural features with simple tricks and smart product placement. If you have seen any of her videos, you will notice how little product she actually uses. Even Victoria Beckham commented how surprised she was when she went to remove her makeup after a shoot with Lisa on how little product was applied.
