A special lunch at Kickys in Dublin, hosted by Weir & Sons, marked the launch of the new Patek Philippe ladies collection …
Weir & Sons, with Patek Philippe, invited guests to an exclusive Ladies Lunch at Kickys, on South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, encouraging them to bring with them a lady who inspired them – most guests chose to bring along their mum or daughter. Patek’s vivacious Viviane Borges co-hosted with Lucinda Andrews of Weirs.
The new Patek Philippe ladies collection pieces were on display for the first time in Ireland (including some very special one-off pieces). Each watch, from the new black Twenty-4 with diamond bezel to the understated and elegant Calatrava with taupe alligator strap, was displayed on a pretty rotating stand, music box-style, stealing the limelight and distracting (in a very good way) from the succession of delicious small plates coming forth from the kitchen and the lively chatter in the restaurant.
Patek looks forward to welcoming clients in a smart new space at Weirs in the autumn – but for now, for Patek fans, it’s all eyes on its Rare Handcrafts Exhibition at Bond Street House, London, which runs until June 16, with 83 new models on display, featuring the most exquisite craftsmanship. Admission is free with registration. www.patek.com
