The Dead Rabbit, the most awarded pub in NYC, took over Roe & Co Distillery, Dublin 8 for a special one-night cocktail takeover…
In celebration of its tenth anniversary, The Dead Rabbit bar, managed by Jack McGarry, collaborated with Roe & Co Irish Whiskey taking up residency in its distillery for an evening of cocktails, canapés and live music.

As the most awarded bar in New York, The Dead Rabbit bar prides itself on being a destination that reflects a modern Irish “third place,” where tradition meets tomorrow, a cocktail destination that celebrates Irish makers, artisans, and collaborators. Its team includes a Director of Irish Whiskey and a Music Director – and it is known for inspiring generations of mixologists and pushing the boundaries of the usual neighbourhood bar.
Many of the team jetted into Dublin to takeover the Roe & Co Distillery – which is housed in an old, disused, and neglected Guinness power station. The result was a vibrant synergy of the two brands, with great food, and surprise entertainment acts.
The distillery also welcomed surprise entertainment acts including Becky McNeice, Qbanaa, Anamore Drive, ROE, DeCarteret and Tebi Rex. Additionally, the Guinness Archives unveiled a series of archival artwork from John Gilroy and his designs play an integral part of the Dead Rabbit Pub in New York.
Guests mingled inside and out, during two exclusive sessions, sampling innovative whiskey-based cocktails.
