Glendalough Distillery recently launched a new bottle design for its Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin at The Grain Store, Kilruddery House, Co Wicklow. Inspired by a unique story of people and place, the distillery created the bottle in homage to the valley of Glendalough and designed it to look as though it has been picked straight from the forest floor.

Guests who attended the launch got the chance to take in the beauty of Wicklow and forage themselves, before enjoying a refreshing gin and tonic in the wilderness. After the activities, a dinner was held in The Grain Store at Kilruddery House, where they enjoyed the delicious delicacies of Wicklow.

Some familiar faces in attendance included influencer and entrepreneur Roz Purcell, 2FM radio presenter and DJ Emma Power and influencer and content creater Dev Skehan.

Also in attendance were entrepreneur Pamela Laird, creative director of Laws of Style Lawson Mpame and DIY Home Of the Year contestant Katrina Carroll.

Geraldine Kavanagh, the distillery’s full-time forager, hand-picks the fresh, wild botanicals all year round to capture the four seasons in every bottle. The botanicals are beautifully embossed around the foot of the bottle moving their way up. They reflect the ingredients such as sorrel, elderflower and fir that create the distinct notes of Glendalough Wild Botanical Irish Gin.
