THE GLOSS editors Síomha Connolly and Sarah Macken joined other media and influencers including Corina Gaffey, Bairbre Power and Terrie McEvoy for a very special private dinner in Liath Restaurant, Blackrock, Co Dublin to celebrate the launch of the High Summer 2023 collection at Penneys.

Called “Paisley Paradise”, the collection gave us serious Etro-vibes and features boho silhouettes, easy-breezy broderie anglaise and punchy paisley prints which are perfect for summer, with pieces included for all the family.

Influenced by the Moroccan-themed range, head chef and proprietor of two Michelin star Liath, Damien Grey, served a bespoke street food menu inspired by Moorish cuisine. The sharing menu included dishes of braised chicken and sultana pie, chilli sardines with roasted garlic dip, lamb and vegetable tagine and roasted whole hake with chermoula and braised potato. For dessert, guests enjoyed orange blossom filo pastries and Moroccan doughnuts with warm mint tea.
