Everything You Need To Know About 4TH ARQ’s Latest Collection

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH 4TH ARQ

The Irish brand will release its new collection, The Classics Reborn, this week – and we got a first look …

When Rosie Connolly conceived the idea for 4TH ARQ, a collection of versatile and affordable wardrobe staples, the idea was not just to launch a fashion brand, but to build a community. “We’re community obsessed! We want everyone to feel they are a part of the brand’s journey so we get an extreme sense of pride every time we see someone wear 4TH ARQ.”

That same loyal community now buys out each drop, in record time.

Keen customers have come to learn that 4TH ARQ collections will be snapped up on the same day they are released, so with fingers poised at “drop time”, thousands of return shoppers are waiting to click. These are not pieces to be worn once and tossed aside, but the building blocks of a gorgeous wardrobe. “Our vision when we launched was to create a stylish everyday uniform that helps people to feel their best,” explains Connolly. “And to this day, we live by this same vision – it’s part of our DNA.” On social media you’ll see the brand’s followers style their 4TH ARQ pieces with their own full-length tailored coats or oversized blazers and chunky trainers for that high/low mix.

Think of 4TH ARQ as an off-duty wardrobe with polish, activewear that is comfortable and casual without scrimping on style. These are pieces you’ll wear on morning walks, to the gym, for weekend coffee trips and for travel days. Built on a foundation of athleisure, the addition of new hero pieces like the elevated trench coat and the corduroy jackets to the 4TH ARQ collection bring an exciting dimension.

The Classics Reborn lands on Thursday January 25, with an updated edit of seamless leggings in new colourways as well as brand new corduroy puffer jackets that are guaranteed to be best- sellers, iconic trenches and new shades in the brand’s beloved half-zip fleece pullovers. For The Classics Reborn collection, sandy desert tones complete the palette with dusty pinks, taupe, caramel and smooth sea blue coming to the fore.

With over 370k followers on her personal Instagram page, Connolly and her husband Paul Quinn founded the company in 2020 when the couple spotted a gap in the market for high quality clothing accessible to everyone. Already having three children between them, the term ‘4TH’ refers to the brand being their fourth baby, while ‘ARQ’ derives from the word ‘home’.

For stylist Courtney Smith, who has worked alongside Connolly on creative direction since the brand’s infancy, it’s the mass appeal that makes 4TH ARQ stand out. “It’s one of those rare brands that has managed to transcend generations and cater for something to suit everyone’s style. Obviously, the half-zips are the scene-stealers: I know women from 16 years old all the way up to 89, who wear them. You can’t walk down the street without spotting a few – there is quite literally a 4TH ARQ cult out there. It has mass appeal with extreme wearability and comfort and yet it’s still ultimately a cool girl brand.”

“The collection keeps growing with new pieces every season. This season there were a lot of neutral tones, mixed with blue and pink hues within the collection, so I knew shooting somewhere at sunrise and sunset with sand and sky would be key to get across those beautiful colours. There were a few locations in the mix for SS24 but we decided on Fuerteventura for its stunning sand dunes and landscape.”

Building on the success of the past three years, it’s clear that 4TH ARQ has created a brand that speaks to its community. Want to join the crew? Set your alarm and be ready to hit add to cart as soon as the collection drops – you heard it here first!

The Classics Reborn collection will be available on www.4tharq.com at 6pm on Thursday January 25.
