Celebrating DWD’s inaugural year with a quintessentially cool crowd …
Following a hugely successful Design Week Dublin Design Talk with lighting designer Niamh Barry, architect turned woodturner and furniture designer Alan Meredith, and co-founder of Milan-based contemporary rug company cc-tapis, Fabrizio Cantoni, at Anantara The Marker, guests moved to Minima, Helen Kilmartin‘s smart showroom in the heart of Grand Canal.
Still buzzing from the panel discussion, guests were greeted with the choice of two delicious DWD cocktails by Roe & Co Whiskey, and exquisite canapés by Do Canapés, a brand new business by Tony Barry, son of caterer Claire Hanley.

Crowds spilled out onto the pavement, chatting and reconnecting. There were plenty of cool sofas and chairs to perch on inside as Helen and Fabrizio Cantoni introduced cc-tapis’ latest collection of rugs by designers Patricia Urquiola, Bethan Laura Wood and Claude Cartier, among others.
