The Hidden Hearth Festival, an autumnal festival of arts, wisdom and wellbeing is a place to connect with nature, nourish your mind and body and enjoy the arts in a most idyllic location …
The beautifully autumnal Hidden Hearth Festival takes place the weekend of October 14 and 15, 2023. It is a family-friendly festival of community, creativity, celebration and empowerment. The festival centres around honouring the end of the outward half of the year (so reflecting on and appreciating everything we have experienced throughout the brighter months of the year) and letting go of any negativity that we might have as we turn inward for the darker months.
This is done through celebrating many disciplines of the arts such as music, visual art, poetry, topical talks and debates, performances and crafts. There is also an array of holistic workshops and classes, like yoga, wood walking and meditation to nourish your body and mind. Set all over the grounds of the beautiful Lisnavagh House, this is the ultimate (super autumnal!) opportunity to retreat from the world, to regroup, to be completely present in the nature and wonderful people that surround you, and to reinspire your senses before the winter months. www.thefarmyardlisnavagh.com

Try something new: Guests can appreciate the art of Wild Hurling led by Diarmuid Lyng and Ronan O’Snodaigh, they can take part in Bi-Lingual Meditation and be informed at the ‘The Secrets to Ageless Ageing,’ by psychologist Dr Karen Ward.
Be inspired: Guests can attend talks from singer and animal welfare activist, Cathy Davy – who will discuss My Lovely Pigs, her pig rescue centre and the only one in Ireland. Historian Turtle Bunbury will reminisce on characters from the Vanishing Ireland book series. The fantastic Philip Judge will entertain with some theatrical performances.
Stay mindful: The Wild Forest School for Children and Mindful Forest Bathing Walks return, as does the Woodland Lake Swimming/Sauna and Bee Therapy in some beautiful spaces around Lisnavagh house.
This event runs on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15 2023 from 10am to 6pm. Day tickets start at €80 per adult, which includes access to all events. www.thefarmyardlisnavagh.com
