Look Fantastic has some great beauty steals at up to 40 per cent off at the moment – if you’ve been wanting the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa perfume mist, here’s where to get it (€35.45, usually €44.45); the brand’s new SPF range is there too, with the SPF50 body spray at €33.45 (rrp €41.95). There’s also a Drunk Elephant Edit for €72 and a beautiful bergamot and jasmine bath and shower gel by ESPA (€26.10, rrp €29); Benefit’s best product, Benetint for lips and cheeks, is reduced by 18 per cent too. It’s a good chance to stock up on everything from suncream – including dermatologist-recommended brand Heliocare, reduced by 20 per cent) – to haircare, for less.

At Brown Thomas online you’ll currently find lower prices on brands including Sarah Chapman, Philip Kingsley haircare and MAC make-up, such as the Extended Play Lash Mascara (€19.20, was €24), a good one for summer, as it elongates lashes cleanly and without clogging.
PHARMACY FINDS
Need a new cleanser? You can currently get hold of Aveeno’s gentle Face Calm+Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser (200ml) for €7.49 (usually €10) at Boots online; there’s 25 per cent savings on selected Aveeno products, including the PHA Exfoliating Cleanser. There are lots of summer skincare deals online worth checking out, from Dove face self-tan (now under €3) to lip balm with SPF30 for €6, by Nivea. There are savings of up to half price on some fragrances, too, including Tiffany eau de parfum 50ml, now €84 (was €119), the classic YSL Rive Gauche and 90s blockbuster CKOne.
THE YEAR-ROUND HAND HERO
Skincare stalwarts Neutrogena have just re-released the Norwegian Formula Anti Age Hand Cream SPF20 – a robust moisturiser and protector that works hard for your hands, with moisturising glycerin and vitamin E. The formula has just been upgraded; the original Norwegian Formula dates back to 1972. As Neutrogena skincare expert Rebecca Bennett notes: “Our busy hands very often do not get the attention they deserve until there’s a problem. They are not only one of the first places to show dryness but also ageing, sun damage and pigmentation spots.
